ADENOIDECTOMY

Adenoidectomy is one of the most common pediatric surgeries.  The adenoid is located in the nasopharynx, above and behind the palate. Indications for adenoidectomy include pediatric nasal airway obstruction, obstructive breathing and sleep apnea, chronic mouth breathing and recurrent or persistent otitis media in selected children.
